I haven't worn this skirt in a while, and today at work when I looked down to admire my blue leather shoes, I noticed that the skirt lining was peeking out from the bottom edge. I thought of every logical solution in the book: sewing kit, safety pins, quick trip to the tailor. But unfortunately I was in a bit of a time crunch and didn't want to walk into my next meeting with my lining exposed! So I did what any normal girl would do. I folded the lining under itself and stapled it together. Worked like a charm.
Cute outfit... and resourceful... great combination.

ReplyDeleteThanks Elina! This top is actually from a thrift shop in Portland, OR. I picked it up while visiting my family last summer. BUT, I do love Secondi in DC. It's in Dupont and I find treasures there on a regular basis! Check it out if you haven't already, and let me know if you have any other favorite thrifting places in DC!
