I've never been on a safari, but if I ever go, I am pretty sure I'll wear a hat like this. I picked this one up at Urban for a recent trip to New Orleans, and it is already one of my summer favorites (which is pretty impressive since it's not even summer yet). 

The material is flexible and holds its shape so that I can throw it in a suitcase or purse without worrying about crushing the structure. After recently buying a stiff sun hat that quickly creased and lost its wearability, I learned that a good hat should be made of soft, pliable material. And this one fits the bill!
